Julianna Smith, originally from Houston, Texas began her pre-professional dance training with Dance Du Coeur Company from 2015 to 2018 under the direction of Dani Hammack, Associate Artistic Director of Ad Deum Dance Company. During this time Julianna was a full-time student in an online homeschool program as well as a dance teacher and choreographer at a local dance studio in Houston, TX directed by Darlette Johnson Bailey.
In Fall 2018, Julianna moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue her BFA in Dance Theatre from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. During her time at AMDA she was a feature dancer in staged performances as well as dance films under the direction of Laura Berg, Donyelle Jones, Kyle McHargh, Tracy Silver, Genevive Carson, and Stephanie Landwehr. Julianna also found a passion for film and honed in her craft under accredited director and producer, Cain DeVore.
As Julianna makes her transition into the professional world she is determined to grow as an artist while maintaining her steadfast and unwavering dedication to her craft. Julianna is endlessly grateful for the support, guidance, and mentorship received.
